Baja Cantina Restaurant Review: On the road winding into sleepy Carmel Valley, there’s a place lit with energy where diners feel part of the party even when sipping tequila alone. The quirky venue appears to be an old filling station, complete with pumps and vintage auto memorabilia. Occasional live music on the large outdoor deck and a clientele of vacationing golfers, Harley riders or the entire Carmel High football team add to the character. A cocktail of large camarones refreshes just as well as a margarita. Chase away the Monday blues with the barbecue chicken and ribs special.
