Hearty French fare is the strength of this tiny restaurant just off Lombard Street’s motel strip. We love the snails sautéed in garlic with cream for a starter, followed by a flavorful lamb stew or the superb rabbit in mustard sauce. At lunch, the baguette sandwiches and a lovely quiche are both satisfying. The traditional crème brûlée for dessert is worth a trip across town.
