Bakersfield OTR Restaurant Review

: Cincinnati isn't what you would call a mecca for Mexican food. But if you're craving fresh-flavored street tacos and made-just-right creamy guacamole, this place fills the void. And it fills it with a side of country. You might hear Merle Haggard or Johnny Cash while you sip your margarita or wait for a table. And the barkeep might tempt you with a Bluegrass take on tacos and tequila. Bakersfield OTR holds a fondness for Kentucky bourbons and American whiskeys. Start with the chips and the aforementioned guacamole, or queso with hot house-pickled jalapeƱos. If you're hungry, order a few of the $4 snack-size tacos with house-made tortillas packed with fresh ingredients. The Pastor is a good choice, made with chili-marinated pork and pineapple, picked onion and cilantro. Or go for the braised short rib with queso fresco, crema, pickled onions, cilantro and radish. Have your table try all eight taco combinations and you may grow addicted to this trendy taco lounge.
