While the smoked meats at Bakes are all accomplished, the dry-rubbed ribs, slow-smoked for 17 hours, are not-to-be-missed delectable. Good country-style side dishes include baked beans, mac 'n' cheese, potato salad, slaw, fried okra and fried apples, but when deep-fried corn on the cob (seasonal) is available, order it.
