Baldwin's Sweet Shop Restaurant Review:

Since Baldwin's Sweet Shop also sells local snacks and candies, it's only natural that their shave ice might reflect some of the same flavors. The li hing (preserved salted plum) flavor is by far their most popular, but if you're not used to the extreme pucker it causes, it's not for you. We're in love with the mellower lemon peel flavor, which is exclusive to Baldwin's; it’s got the right balance of sour, salty and sweet that goes well with the fluffy ice. We also like the mango and lychee flavors, which are reminiscent of juicy fruit. Everything we tried had some kind of flavor tag that took us back to our childhood, which is fitting for a spot that serves a lot of the after-school set.
