This sister restaurant of Balistreri's on 68th Street offers largely the same menu, and a similar casual vibe, but with a special emphasis on fresh fish, steaks and Italian dishes. Pastas like lasagna, ravioli and penne con pollo share the menu with New York strip and blackened tenderloin tips as well as cold-water lobster tail, salmon and linguine with clams. Balistreri's pizzas also figure into the mix, ranging from the classic margherita and over-the-top lasagna pizza to a regional specialty (the Milwaukee pizza, with aged white cheddar, Polish sausage and caramelized sauerkraut). Also on hand are gourmet sandwiches like grilled tenderloin on garlic bread with truffle mayonnaise, sweet onions, marinated portobello mushrooms and arugula. The restaurant is located near Miller Park, and the late-night menu is as good an excuse as any to keep the night young. We like to order a round of appetizers --- eggplant strips, breaded calamari and bruschetta --- and pair it with classic cocktails from the bar.
