Gauzy white curtains frame the intimate white-on-white dining room that looks right out of an Architectural Digest-Great House in Jamaica, lazily spinning ceiling fans, tropical foliage and all. Leggy models sip martinis on chaise lounges in the candle-lit bar. The limited menu offers contemporary dishes with a Caribbean twist, some of which work better than others. Good bets include steamed mussels, the grilled jerk-seasoned breast of chicken, the Arawak-spiced shell steak, the whole snapper with ginger, and for dessert, the coconut crème brûlée.
