THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bandana's Restaurant Review: Bandana's may look western, with knotty pine and branding irons, but fortunately the food is real Southern, and real good. Lots of big parties chow down together and there's a large to-go business. ('Que does travel well. Think about a stop en route to the airport.) The pork is sliced rather than pulled, but it's so flavorful we can live with that. The ribs are the real highlight, dry-rubbed, tender and moist but not dripping fat. Four sauces on the table plus one that's so hot it's hidden in the back, presumably because there are numerous small children about. Among the sides, the winner is the beans, wonderfully smoky and filled with meat bits. Consider, too, the baked potato topped with wet Bandana, a beef-pork combo in tangy sauce. Other locations.
