THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bangkok Bistro Restaurant Review:
Downtown and dressy, this Thai eatery appeals to the Georgetown crowd and all others who want to dress for dinner, even if that means only ordering a casual plate of pad thai and a bowl of lemon grass soup. We won’t quibble, however, for the basic menu plays out well. As starters, try the chicken satay with peanut sauce, and the fried tofu triangles, always a hit with the sweet-sour dipping sauce. Then on to the country curry, made without coconut milk and therefore less sweet than its city cousins; paired with that is pad thai and a salmon entrée of sorts (this not being particularly Thai). And to end the meal, there is Thai custard and sticky rice with mango.
