This restaurant, couched inside a strip shopping mall in the Carrollton section, introduced pad thai and mee krob to New Orleans many years ago. A lot of fish sauce has flowed under the bridge since, but Bangkok Cuisine remains popular at lunchtime. Noodle dishes can be mushy and overloaded. But the chicken wings, beef salad and chicken soup with coconut can be satisfying, as can the fried fish. Service is congenial and the décor is blessedly pale, considering the lack of windows on three walls.
