THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Baorrito Restaurant Review:
First inspired by Los Angeles’ Kogi Korean BBQ-To-Go truck, which set the standard for kimchi-stuffed tacos and quesadillas, Michael “Bao” Huynh’s Asian-Mexican taqueria is more geographically expansive. Tacos (which could use a second tortilla so they don’t fall apart) and huge burritos come stuffed with a choice of basil-accented beef, lemon grass-touched short rib, tandoori chicken, a Korean bibimbap, and a more straightforward Mex-flavored tilapia. All these can also be ordered as an Atkins-friendly “Baorrito Bowl.” There are also quesadillas (with kimchi, of course), nachos, and mole-laced chicken wings.
