Bar Pitti Restaurant Review

: The draw at Bar Pitti is authentic Italian fare at reasonable prices. Among the appetizers is the antipasto Toscano with prosciutto di Parma, salame toscano, pecorino and a slice of fettunta --- grilled country bread redolent of garlic and olive oil. Pasta standards are all here, but we do recommend the taglierini all'empolese, a thin pasta with leeks, artichokes, garlic, olive oil and a touch of fresh tomato. The hot panini menu also appeals; try the Campagnolo with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, olive oil and Parmigiano. Entrées change daily. The short wine list features good Italian bottles. Sidewalk tables offer a nice touch and many celeb sightings.
