The draw at Bar Pitti is good Italian fare at reasonable prices. One of our favorite appetizers is the antipasto Toscano---prosciutto di Parma, salame loscano, formaggio and a slice of fettunta, grilled country bread redolent of garlic and olive oil. The pasta standards are all here, but we do recommend the taglierini all'empolese, a thin pasta with leeks, artichokes, garlic, olive oil and a touch of fresh tomato. The hot panini menu also appeals; try the spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, olive oil and Parmigiano number. The entrée menu changes daily and the short wine list features good Italian bottles at reasonable prices. Sidewalk tables offer a nice touch and many celeb sightings.
