Bar Ramone Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Lettuce Entertain You enters the vino game with its first wine bar, featuring Spanish tapas and a 100-plus bottle wine list. Narrow and snug, the restaurant plays well to the post-work cocktailer or dater, with spillage onto the patio for nice nights. Spanish-themed art livens up the space.

Likes: A cozy space to sip and linger.
Dislikes: No reservations.

Food & Drinks: With a wine program curated by Ryan Arnold and Richard Hanauer, the eatery makes room for bottles from Burgundy, Piedmont and Rhône, plus Spanish porróns with assorted styles of Txakoli for crowd-pleasers. Warning: The server might encourage you to imbibe porrón-style with the spout as far from the mouth as possible, so when in Bar Ramone ... The menu's strong suits include Spanish ham and cheeses, patatas bravas (served thick and long like frites), Galician octopus and lamb meatballs. The caramelized orange flan is bright and citrusy without being too sweet.
