Oysters are the principal stock in trade at this casual, unassuming eatery that's popular with denizens of the brick bungalows of its Lakeview neighborhood. No one should be allowed to leave without trying the Oysters Box-Em, a sampler of five different baked mollusk preparations including a stellar version of oysters Rockefeller. There's also a classic milky oyster stew haloed with a buttery sheen, and side dishes of oyster dressing shot through with spicy andouille sausage. Just about the only way you can't have your oysters here is raw, which is a shame but forgivable. The non-oyster dishes tend to be disappointing---just all-right and expensive. A clubby, sometimes boisterous, bar separates two softly lighted dining rooms. A mural of an oyster boat, mirrors and maps of Barataria Bay decorate the walls.
