Operating from a pair of classic hot dog stands, complete with bright colors, Maz Islam does a business in good hot dogs, Polish and Italian sausages, and even low-fat chicken dogs. The all-beef, natural-casing hot dogs are the best, and taste wonderful with a topping of chili and onions. Get the baked potato salad for a side dish that's unusual and very tasty. This location actually is on the back side of 1150 Peachtree St. on Crescent Ave., about one block south of 14th St. It often operates weekends during special events at Club 1150, when it may stay open as late as 4 a.m. Also located at 1280 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, 678-467-8460.
