THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Baroni Restaurant Review

: From the team that produced Baraonda comes Baroni, a casual Italian spot with a bright, cheerful aspect and a raft of appealing dishes, from pasta to pizza and beyond. The most unusual feature is the mozzarella bar, offering mozzarella di bufala, fior di latte and domestic burrata with adornments such as grilled vegetables or prosciutto. All one need do is add a crusty bread to the composition for a complete meal. Good value options include the pasta dishes, among them a whole-wheat choice. We recommend the fusilli with sausage, mushrooms and cream. Caesar salad---an Ital-Mex dish in origin---is well done, with a house-made dressing. Dinner options include salmon, chicken, veal and lamb---all prepared with the Italian culinary attitude in mind. Get the tiramisu for dessert. The wine list is serviceable if not exciting.
