This compact, bright-colored Thai restaurant attracts a young crowd, who love the hard-edged colors and for-sale artwork decorating the walls. They also come for the Thai cooking, although it doesn't fully explore the great cuisine. Still, what comes from the kitchen is sound and true to its origins. On the menu, the management marks the hot dishes with a bomb. Start with tod mun (fishcakes) marked with a bomb, but they're really not that hot. Other good dishes: kanom jeeb (steamed dumplings with a smashing tamarind dipping sauce); crispy tofu (hard to go wrong here); red duck curry; and drunken noodles. If you drop in for lunch, you'll find several specials that include crispy won ton or fried bean curd with pad Thai, a curry or a stir-fry entrée.
