THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bastante Restaurant Review:

Bastante doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. But it's not quite like anything else, either. The site of a former sports bar has been turned into a simple restaurant serving good food with some very experienced servers. No attitude, except for enthusiasm for what's being put on the plate. Sometimes the food is simple---chorizo, merguez and salsiccia on an appetizer plate, along with a dab of potato salad. More often, it's things like a duck leg with a cherry and mushroom sauce or a meltingly tender pork shank braised like osso buco. Soups and interesting small pizzas serve as snacks, and may be joined by a glass of wine from appropriate areas. Occasional glitches with service can occur when the kitchen gets backed up, but overall, it's a worthy experience.
