THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bayport Cookery Restaurant Review:

Thankfully, the Bayport Cookery’s themed approach doesn’t go over the top. Like Iron Chef, it focuses on an ingredient (or a culinary region) and explores its potential in every course (prix-fixe dinners offer three-, five- and nine-course options), making each menu both an experience and an education. The morel mushroom festival in June is what puts the restaurant on the map, but we’ve also enjoyed the chocolate fest in February and the garlic dinner in August. Head chef Jim Kyndberg’s creations are always worthy, inventive and carefully thought out. An expansion has opened up the once tiny space that now includes a huge stone fireplace.
