Beach House Restaurant at Lovers Point Restaurant Review: Beach House Restaurant, with its views of Monterey Bay, is jammed nightly and rightly so. Values start with a sunset menu and continue with an accessible wine list that includes more than a dozen options by the glass. Signature firecracker shrimp glisten with a sweet-and-spicy sauce studded with black and white sesame seeds, while the lightly seared sea scallop exudes a pleasant smokiness. Former chefs Briana Sammut and Guillaume D’Angio have left the kitchen, and we're looking forward to chef Evan Lite's take on this scenic Monterey location. Service is unhurried but heartfelt and efficient, particularly given the high volume of business.
