| This Beach Pit outpost in Old Town Tustin is located in what was once California’s oldest mechanic's garage. Renovated as a family restaurant, the eatery offers tender wood-smoked meats, including pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs and chicken. There are also salads, sandwiches, pizzas, wraps and a good kids’ menu. Don’t miss the sweet potato fries, blueberry cornbread or banana pudding dessert. The outdoor playground here also makes it a favorite for parents with lively children. For the holidays and on special request, the Beach Pit smokes up spice-rubbed turkeys overnight for easy family feasts. |
