 Beaches & Cream Restaurant Review: Beaches & Cream is poolside at the Beach Club Resort, so many of the customers are in bathing suits. But at lunchtime you'll also see Disney employees slipping into one of the booths for a double cheeseburger and shake, and one of the best burgers at Disney World. The menu also includes standards like hot dogs and chili, with a few other sandwiches such as a deli turkey sandwich and a veggie burger. The dessert menu offers a classic banana split, a butterscotch sundae, a peanut butter and hot fudge sundae, and our favorite, the frozen sunshine, with orange sherbet, vanilla ice cream and seltzer. You wouldn't drive out of the way to eat here, but if you're at Epcot or on Disney's BoardWalk, or at either the Yacht or Beach Club, plan a frivolous lunch or dinner where everyone eats like a kid. |
