Two restaurants in one---a quiet and pleasant seafood house midweek and a raucous club on weekends. Only the spectacular ocean view stays the same.

Beaches packages good food with a lovely ocean view. At lunchtime and on midweek evenings, the pace is relaxed, allowing diners to luxuriate over seafood specialties that may include ginger-crusted mahi mahi with spicy chipotle sauce and grilled albacore with citrus soy sauce. Steaks and pastas are also offered, and while they aren’t quite as exciting, everything is competently prepared. Mondays through Thursdays, between 5 p.m.-7 p.m., children dine free when their parents order from the regular menu, making Beaches popular with families. Fridays and Saturdays, the nightclub crowd shows up in force, so arrive early before the wait grows too long and the service becomes strained.
