Beachview Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review: Choosing from surf or turf, with a view of the turf, in this case a nearby golf course, makes a meal at this spot enjoyable as well as convenient. Choices are fairly standard but it's always wise to try a house specialty that bears the house name---like the Beachview gumbo appetizer or the House Special onion gratinée. Entrées range from rack of lamb to veal porterhouse to grilled pork chop. But there is also calf's liver, not found on many restaurant menus. It's served with a sweet onion crust and applewood-smoked bacon. Seafood selections often include a choice of salmon or sailfish, reflecting geographic extremes. For dessert, it's worth trying another house creation: the Granny Smith apple crisp served with cinnamon ice cream. |
