Bean attracts a mostly local crowd with its spicy Mexican fare and lively atmosphere. Expect a crowd during the evening hours, most of whom will be ordering variations on Bean’s famed burritos, which have been given a Williamsburg touch. Look for fillings like shiitake mushrooms, mixed vegetables and chipotle grilled skirt steak. Brunch can get busy, but Bean has a fine fast delivery service, which extends all the way out to Greenpoint.
