Beekman Bar and Books Restaurant Review

: With two outposts in New York and Prague, this Eastside spot is swankier than its brethren. The d├ęcor is bordello chic and the dress code (jacket preferred, no tennis shoes) is enforced. The long list of premium whiskies and the backroom cigar-smoking space inspire lingering. Food is an afterthought, but for the hungry there's plenty to nosh, including prosciutto-topped pizza, finger sandwiches, steamed dumplings and cheese plates.
