THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Beleza Restaurant Review: Overseeing the kitchens at both Cuerno and adjacent Beleza, Ken Bouché continues to offer Beleza's unique fare, which bears both visual and flavor appeal. Portions are small by some folks' measures, so don't come here looking for a 20-ounce steak and potatoes. The restaurant's appreciative audience of well-toned thirty-somethings come for conversation and small dishes. Clever juxtapositions create memorable meals, and bad fats are banned. The flavors are so clear and brilliant, you don't miss the fat. The menu changes often, but one may rely on raw or sous-vide-cooked fish, healthy grains, such as the ancient grain quinoa, enlivened with fresh fruits and intense flavors. Desserts are dairy-, soy-, egg- and sugar cane-free, but may contain nuts; they are sweetened with agave nectar. The wine list is short and sweet, but holds its own in this land of small plates and healthful noshes.
