| It's not a bella place, as the name suggests, not even European in décor, with the exception of a few Italy posters and maps tacked crookedly on the walls. But Bella Napoli is an old South Beach favorite for locals who like their Italian-American food big (portions for one typically serve two or three) and bold. Hefty portions of cheesed-up lasagna, chicken Parmesan and gnocchi swimming in inauthentic (judging by Italian standards) but habit-forming pink sauce are a few of the specialties of the house. Complimentary olive oil- and garlic-soaked rolls made from pizza dough could keep a small country of vampires at bay. |
