Bella's Gourmet Pizza Restaurant Review: Occupying the former space of Old Pasadena’s beloved Manny’s Pizzeria is Bella’s, which hardly misses a beat. The room, warmed with worn brick and vintage beverage posters, features a homey vibe. The pizzas are very respectable, particularly the deep-dish Sicilian pies. We recommend sticking with traditional varieties, but the exhibition kitchen also turns out more contemporary options like the bacon-cheeseburger (beef and bacon with cheddar, topped with mayo, tomato, onion and lettuce). There are even dessert pizzas available. If you’re craving a pepperoni pizza at 2 a.m., after a night of clubbing, Bella’s is the place. |
