| Just a couple blocks from the heart of town, this low-key Mexican eatery keeps large lunch crowds happy with the basic stuff. Downtown office types squeeze in for tacos and fat boy burritos, tacos and rellenos, all served with cafeteria-quality rice and refried beans. No, it’s not fancy, but it’s cheap and fast and very close to the office. Low-priced jumbo margaritas and pitchers of sangria stretch the value of the dollar. We stop in after work for budget Mexi beers, happy-hour shots and complimentary chips and salsa. |
