This charming, light-filled neighborhood restaurant is in an area still somewhat in a state of flux. But that doesn't stop diners from coming across North and Northeast Portland to enjoy Belly’s inventive cooking at reasonable prices. Equally good for families and couples on date nights, Belly offers a popular three-for-$25 nightly dinner special. Choices can include the tasty house-made tagliatelle with pork belly ragù as the main dish. The burger with bacon and fried shallots is another favorite. For the libation inclined, cocktails are as intriguing as their names: Fire in the Belly, Mule Kick, Pine Needle Press.
