With dozens of types of beer available at the bar, the alcoholic offerings are much more ambitious than the menu. Regardless, Bennigan's does shine in some areas, offering decent food in a loud (some say fun) atmosphere. Try any of the hefty salads, or a rib-eye, or indulge with the decadent Monte Cristo, a sandwich that combines ham, turkey, and Swiss and American cheeses on wheat bread that has been dipped in batter and deep-fried. Looking for something a bit lighter? Lighten up with an Asian chicken salad or grilled salmon. The best way to top off such an entrée?
