 Berryhill & Co Restaurant Review: Set back from 10th Street in downtown Boise, Berryhill & Co. draws much of the city's eclectic happy hour crowd with its appetizers, such as a goat cheese panino and buffalo burger sliders with spicy aïoli. However, it is the quietly elegant dining that dominates this local favorite. Guests appreciate the wide expanse of windows with clear views to a bustling downtown street. Clean lines enhance dark wood and walls in muted earth tones. Nightly live jazz contributes to the conviviality. Entrées include a tender Black Angus filet mignon with garlic mashers and sautéed seasonal vegetables; a Salmon Creek pork chop braised with herbs, fennel, artichoke and preserved lemon ragoût; and a hearty Pacific sea bass filet on a bed of Parmesan-infused basmati rice and spinach blended with a Danish-Brie crème. A thoughtful wine list complements the menu, while sophisticated desserts add a sweet finish. |
