| Better Burger is a mini-chain that serves up burgers made with organic and-or free range meat. In addition to beef, it serves soy, veggie, chicken, turkey and ostrich burgers. Hamburgers come slightly pink in the middle and are paired with refreshingly non-greasy fries (for which several different types of condiments are available: spicy wasabi sauce, Cajun-style ketchup and classic ketchup). The décor is smart, as if a McDonald's collided with an Ikea. But the main reason to come here is for the burgers, which aren't the very best hamburgers in New York City, but they definitely live up to the restaurant's name. Other locations. |
