THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bice Ristorante Restaurant Review:

The original Bice opened in Milan in 1926 and has spread across the globe to include this latest location in Pasadena’s Paseo Colorado shopping complex. The mahogany and warm lighting lend a relaxed air to the restaurant, with the beautiful but low-hanging lamps creating interesting obstacles for the waiters to maneuver around while serving guests. A number of antipasti dishes are offered, but the real focus is on the many types of pasta and entrées available from the Primi and Secondi Piatti menus. The pasta is served al dente so if you’d like it done differently, you’d better ask. Seafood lovers may enjoy the grilled swordfish over potato, crab and sweet corn; or the oven-roasted sea bass on a crispy rice cake with a horseradish and shrimp sauce. For dessert, the tiramisu is heralded as the Bice specialty, but we prefer the tortino al cioccolato caldo con crema dolce: warm chocolate cake with sweetened cream.
