The understated elegance of this space situated in Sotheby's is a fine match for the modern American cuisine of Gramercy Tavern alum Matthew Seeber. Sleek brushed steel accents and a changing selection of artworks heighten expectations that are more than met: quail with mushrooms is served with savoy cabbage and turnips, there's tuna tartare and sea urchin vinaigrette, and a dessert of risotto rice pudding with dried fruit compote should quickly become a favorite.
