If you’re after a themed restaurant, go for the Big Easy. Subtle it is not, but fun it is, with wood décor (everywhere), kitsch on the walls in the form of U.S. license plates, big portions and a great welcome. Char-grilling figures heavily, seafood comes in all forms and there is a wide range of sauces and dips, like mustard-honey dip with the snow crab claws. Main dishes range from burgers with all the trimmings to seafood baskets and surf ‘n’ turf variations. There are always seasonal offers, and the set lunch at two courses for £9.95 (Mon.-Fri. noon to 5pm) is a good value.
