Billy's Stone Crab Restaurant Review: You might call Billy's Stone Crab a fine example of a moveable feast. Even though Billy Moore has relocated his restaurant from time to time, wherever he lands, the seafood --- especially the stone crab --- is first-rate. Stone crab season is May 15 to October 15, and while the little delicacies can be pricey, they're also very tasty. The regular year-round menu offers typical Florida standards such as shrimp, sirloin, prime rib and crab-stuffed flounder. Lunch specials range from fish or chicken sandwiches to hot Cuban sandwiches. There are lots of hands-on food options, too, like onion rings and U-Peel-’em Shrimp. But there are more perks here than just food: the adjacent piano bar provides background music.
