| The brother and sister team of Azita Bina-Seibel and Babak Bina, of Lala Rokh fame, created this contemporary Italian enoteca, offering an international wine list, which includes more than 60 by the glass and 200 by the bottle. The cozy Charles Street space is as intimate as Bin 26’s menu. Starters include oysters on the half shell and marinated olives as well as not-so-traditional finds like zucchini carpaccio and saffron risotto balls. Order a big glass of Cabernet and pair it with a create-your-own cheese sampling --- think everything from Gorgonzola and pecorino to Brunet goat cheese and manchego. Pasta dishes feature homemade ricotta gnocchi with cherry tomato, basil and baby calamari while entrées range from whole branzino with aromatic herbs to marinated lamb leg, Fregola verde and mint pesto. End with crème caramel accompanied by sweet Riesling poached fruits. |
