THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bistro 607 Restaurant Review: The quaint 1912 bungalow that houses Bistro 607 offers a homey setting for an evolving French-accented menu prepared under the watchful eyes of partners and co-chefs Heath Holloman and Jean-Paul Fontaine. Their daily-changing foie gras presentation is a signature starter, and sets a high standard for the rest of the meal. Dijon-crusted sweetbreads melt in the mouth. Entrées such as braised lamb shank with eggplant chickpea moussaka and saffron olive drizzle, duck and scallops with French green lentils and rhubarb gastrique, and grilled pork chop with vanilla-pineapple confit are sure to live up to that standard.
