THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bistro 767 Restaurant Review

: The Palos Verdes Peninsula restaurant scene is dominated by generic fish houses and Italian joints. Bistro 767 differs in that the menu offers creative signature items and original interpretations of traditional dishes. Offerings range from the Franco-Japanese ahi tartare with wasabi vinaigrette to salmon with maple-horseradish glaze and braised short rib with ponzu glaze. The menu is not very descriptive, but the servers are knowledgeable and reliable. Everything works surprisingly well. Bistro 767 is the Peninsula’s only late-evening restaurant, and it does a good pre- and post-theater business. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated; and while the outdoor patio only has a view of a quiet street, it is a pleasant place for a sunny lunch or early dinner.
