THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bistrot Zinc Restaurant Review:

This is a restaurant with precious mettle in two parts. The Bistrot itself is more formal and less hectic; the café in the front is casual and fast-paced and, some say, a more chic place to dine. This is classic bistro fare to the core, but a revolving door of chefs of late has caused a few problems. That being said, the first thing to do is check les plats du jour. After that, go for the delicious likes of steak frites, roast chicken or leg of lamb, and such sublime desserts as oeufs à la neige or profiteroles. There’s an excellent all-French wine list. Service is not always all it should be, especially on nights when the young and restless pack the place and are hanging off the fabulous zinc bar. But then, watching the young and restless are part of the reason why we love this place so much.
