Locals have been coming to BJ's for years for basic, no-nonsense, British-style fish 'n' chips. The fish is tender and crispy, holding up well to a dousing of malt vinegar, and unlike other shops, BJ’s doesn’t overdo the oil. If you’re not a fish fan but still crave some deep-fried food, try the prawns or clams, also served with a generous portion of chips.
