The neighborhood-friendly feel brings after-work regulars in droves to this happy hour spot and they often stay for a bite, and the casual family-style setting is almost universally appealing. Appetizers such as the soft pretzels served with honey mustard and cheese dipping sauces and deep-fried macaroni and cheese served with marinara sauce work equally well to share among friends over drinks or as something to keep the kids happy. Crowd-pleasers include the "Build a Bear Burger" consisting of a grilled eight-ounce USDA burger topped according to customers' preferences. The Black Bear Cub Campfire dessert, a make-your-own s'mores affair, is a fun ending.
