The Black Rose Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: The Black Rose is a staple in Faneuil Hall for its live Irish entertainment and fun vibe, and because it’s one of the best places to go for a perfect pour of Guinness. The pub is busy every night of the week with tourists flocking to the place from all over the world for a taste of Ireland in Boston.

Food & Drinks: Whether you want an afternoon pint or to snack on some authentic Irish fare (think shepherd's pie, Guinness beef stew or bangers and mash), the restaurant serves up hearty portions of comfort fare. You can also get one of the best Irish breakfasts in town, complete with bangers, rashers, black and white pudding, baked beans and eggs. For lighter fare, try yogurt, fruit and granola. We come here for the fish 'n' chips, a golden sampling of fresh local scrod, battered and fried and served with a side of crispy pub fries. The dessert menu includes an Irish coffee made with Jameson Irish Whiskey and topped with fresh whipped cream. We recommend indulging in the black and white bread pudding, a sweet combination of dark and white chocolate, finished with a rich Irish whiskey hazelnut cream.
