A carved wooden chef beckons and the fare is a cut above pub grub---try the potato soup, mini meatballs in a sour cream whiskey sauce, good burgers and classic shepherd’s pie. If you’re in need of extreme comfort, a crock of homemade mashed potatoes with gravy ought to do it. The cheesesteak pasta sounds weird but tastes good. Count on catching a rugby or football (soccer) game here, too. |
