Blu on the Water Restaurant Review: This waterfront restaurant/bar on Greenwich Cove features spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as a downstairs pub. Blu has a pretty location, but it’s also one that sometimes struggles to lure diners away from East Greenwich’s popular Main Street. In summer, crowds fill the spaces; in colder months the vibe is pretty low-key. Grilled scallops served over a rich risotto with asparagus and Parmesan is a hearty, tasty dish, while the simple fish ‘n’ chips is subtly executed. Saffron paella risotto and a pumpkin risotto are among the more ambitious entrées. A full bar features a wide range of draft and bottled beers, plus specialty cocktails. The dessert menu changes nightly.
