Blue Corn Cafe & Brewery Restaurant Review

: Make sure to order one of the beers at Blue Corn Café, handcrafted locally at Blue Corn Brewery. The Road Runner IPA, blended with seven hop varieties, consistently sells out, and the homemade root beer is a favorite among the younger crowds. The food isn't quite as notable as the beers, but there are some worthy picks on the menu, including the mountainous nachos smeared with pinto beans, guacamole, tomatoes, jalapeños and lots of cheese. The tortilla soup is also a winner, with rich chicken and lime flavor and a garnish of multicolored tortilla strips. Vegetarians will enjoy the marinated portobello mushroom fajitas, served with grilled onions, bell peppers, sour cream and guacamole. Blue Corn Café and Blue Corn Brewery are younger siblings of several other restaurants owned by Santa Fe art gallery magnate Gerald Peters.
