| The handmade beers at Blue Corn Café & Brewery, especially the High Altitude Pale Ale, are terrific, as is the homemade root beer. The food is less stellar, but there are some good picks on the menu, including the mountainous nachos de la casa composed of black beans, guacamole, tomatoes, jalapeños and tons of cheese. The tortilla soup is also a winner, with rich chicken and lime flavor and a garnish of multicolored tortilla strips. Vegetarians will enjoy the portobello mushroom fajitas, served with grilled onions and peppers, sour cream and guacamole. Blue Corn Café & Brewery is a younger sibling of several other restaurants also owned by Santa Fe art gallery magnate, Gerald Peters. |
