THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Blue Fish & Oyster Bar Restaurant Review: Blue Fish owners Richard and Evalee Grenamyer relocated from Florida to Memphis, and thankfully, the pair brought an appreciation for fresh oysters and seafood along with them. Promising only the freshest catch, the Grenamyer’s menu is designed to feature whatever fish is available each day prepared in a variety of ways: roasted on a cedar plank, crispy fried with slaw, or blackened with lemon. Diners may also choose to savor the oysters on the half shell, Rockefeller, Bienville, or with Caesar salad. Blue Fish boasts a whimsical tropical décor (you can’t miss the lit, full-sized blue palm tree) and a decent-size wine list that includes several selections by Lolonis Estate, an organic winemaker.
