In the historic section of Leesburg is this eatery offering traditional Jamaican dishes plus several pan-Caribbean favorites, such as the fried sweet plantains, the coco bread, and the thick, rich goat curry. Starter choices are limited, but consider the plantains and the patty, a flaky turnover filled with meat and vegetables. Entrées focus on the rich flavors of Jamaican cooking, from the jerk chicken and jerk pork to the traditional curry chicken and curry goat. The latter may have a few detractors, as the rich sauce contains both goat meat and goat bones (these boost the curry flavor), so the pepper shrimp (you can determine the heat level) may be a preferable option. Lunch and dinner menus are the same. Breakfast brings assorted omelets, fried plantains, fried dumplings and breadfruit. Try the rum cake for dessert.
